BASEBALL:  BE READY FOR A RIDE
We wish we won every week, but we don't...We sur-r-re don't

The chart above shows our week-to-week baseball results for an actual full season, and you will notice we do NOT win every week or even every month. Winning streaks and losing streaks are unavoidable, like stock market fluctuations, and any successful handicapper will tell you that beating baseball often requires a long term commitment - being a "grinder" - and suffering through some tough days.

A "grinder" is a bettor who lays a lot of bets and usually bets daily, using a small advantage to "grind down" his opponent, rather than laying only an occasional few relatively big bets in search of a Big Score.

For illustrative purposes here, we risk "100" per play, as in 100% of whatever amount you personally happen to risk. We risk the same on all bets. In the above chart notice first that over the long term our advantage cannot be denied. That's the good news. Green columns in chart represent weekly profit/loss when risking 100 per play, red squares are cumulative profit by week for the season to date. For this entire baseball season we had 901 conclusions for those bets published in PG Newsletter - all of them posted on our Track Us page for easy tracking.

A lot can be learned from the above chart, not the least of which is that we cannot promise a quick profit. Note that from the first of May through the entire month of June we LOST MONEY. Our article, Winning Percentages, addresses what we expect concerning winning streaks and losing streaks. We recommend reading that article.

Using our plays, a $110 bettor would have profited $5,095 for the season shown in the above chart. (Actually, subscribers to PG Newsletter figure to do better than results in the chart due to the ability to shop for better lines.) To determine what your own gross profit would have been, simply multiply the size of your bet by 46.3...Compare THAT to the stock market or any other investment. If you risked 2% of your beginning bankroll per bet - without ever changing your bet size - you would have shown a profit of more than 92 percent. At a bet size of 1% of your beginning bankroll - without ever changing the size of your bet - you would have shown a profit of more than 46 percent.

With 901 betting conclusions, those numbers are within our expectations. We expect a return on investment equal to winning between 55% and 58% v. so-called "11-10" bets wherein you must risk 11 to win ten. Remember, the real goal is to make money. It's not about percentages; it's about PROFIT. Sports betting should be fun and exciting, but it should NOT be a heart-stopping thrill ride. Recreational bettors tend to risk too much of their bankroll per bet. Please read the articles listed at our Index page for more details. There are dramatic differences between genuine pros and all the 'claim-to-bes' and 'wanna-bes' that stalk the internet.

Note that someone subscribing to our newsletter on April 7th of the above season would have made almost 40 units' profit by May 5th, but someone subscribing on May 5th would have gotten behind and stayed behind until July 7th - two months' of being behind. Of course, if you're an experienced player you already know you can plan on spending time 'behind.' We invite you to monitor our plays on our Track Us page. They are posted as soon as games begin. We're sure you will come to see this is a great way to make money off each other.

The Internet has presented us with a unique opportunity and it's up to us to seize that opportunity while we can. All that's needed to get our analyses is to open your email! No passwords, no downloads, no phone calls, no step-up prices, no 'inner circles'! Please do not confuse us with sports touts. Beginning gamblers are NOT encouraged to subscribe to our service. The cost of our newsletter works out to less than $2 per play! To order now, click HERE.           - J. R. Miller
